This community is dedicated to the shipping of non-canon or unconventional pairings in all X-men universes. That means no Jean/Scott and Rogue/Gambit. If it's canon in a particular universe, we don't want to see it here basically. For examples of UC pairings, take a look at the community's interests.
Other than that, any ship you can think of, in any incarnation of the X-men, is welcomed. Discussion, fanfic, subtext-filled comic scans, fanworks, and screen caps are all welcomed. Slash, Femslash and het are both allowed.
Fanfic posting:
- Include headers and a rating.
- Use a Cut.
- Please tag your entries!! If no tag has been created for your particular fic pairing(/universe) - [which is a feat in itself since I have over 300 tags!], it will eventually be added by an admin.
- Pre-shipping and subtexty fanfics are fine.
Image posting
- Please tag you entries! If no tag has been created for your particular fanwork, it will eventually be added by an admin.
- Put the comic scans, fanart, icons (if more than three), and any other sort of images behind a Cut. Basically anything besides a small preview.
Other Guidelines
- No flaming.
- No AI content.
- Feel free to post requests for beta readers.
- Feedback is encouraged.
- Original characters are not quite encouraged because we are mainly focused on the huge cast of the X-Men, so while they can show up in stories or fanworks - please don't put original characters with Jean/Scott/Original Character and call it non-canon.
- Promotional of other communities as long as they accept or are about X-Men fandoms only please.
