Dazzling Date Night.....

To support 3weeks4dreamwidth event going on from April 25th to May 15th, we're going to hold a low-pressure drabbleathon - basically no sign-ups and very few rules.

Rules
1. Anything at least 100 words and under 500 words will be acceptable (although granted, if you happen to write more than that, perfectly fine).
2. Post your drabble to the community under a cut (real or fake link to a dreamwidth URL, such as your journal or fic community).
+ It's highly appreciated that the drabbles created for the event stays on Dreamwidth first, feel free to share to other websites/archives after May 15th
3. Like with anything, follow the community's posting/tagging guidelines (see profile). Please tag your post with "challenge: three weeks for dreamwidth"
4. Any rating, pairings, content is acceptable, spoilers or content warnings (as always) are appreciated but are always up to the writer's choice.

Warnings/Spoilers: suggested Adult Content. Set during X3, sometime after Jean joins the Brotherhood. It’s sort of a missing scene but AU, since this is basing on the fact that Phoenix is the fiery!Phoenix.
Summary: Just before the fight at the bridge, Jean and John have a moment to themselves.
Notes: Written for 15pairings prompt up close and personal. Never expected to write a Jean Grey pairing fic, but this pairing has just been calling me to be written and well hopefully this doesn’t suck too badly. It’s been a while since I watched X3, so if make any mistakes, I apologize a head of time.

So I've been interested in this pairing since the last time I rewatched XME ages ago, and I've been wanting to write for them since I don't think pairing really exists? I did make fanart for them ages ago but I haven't seen anything else. Also not sure if they really interacted in the comics so I'm not sure how Amara's abilities would work with/against the Phoenix but meh this is fanon anyway. I kinda want to write more, not going to lie - not sure if I will.
